The new rights are on the statute book, not on your rota. What you can enforce now in Great Britain, and what the 2027 reforms would change.
Your contract says self-employed. The law may say worker. That difference decides minimum wage, holiday pay and what you can do after a deactivation.
A return-to-office email does not rewrite your contract. Check what you agreed, put any objection in writing and get advice before refusing to attend.
Invoices do not cancel your rights. Check who controls the work, save the evidence and find out what the firm owes you.
Signing a non-compete does not make it enforceable. Your employer must justify the restriction, but ignoring it without advice can put your next job at risk.
Your employment status decides which rights you have. Check what you are owed, which rights depend on service and which 2027 reforms are not yet in force.
A flood or power cut does not give your employer a free pass to stop your wages. Check the contract, then the rights it cannot take away.
An apprenticeship agreement is a contract between you and your employer, not permission to pay less without training you. Check what it promises and what you can enforce.
Your employer is responsible for changes sent through an app. What matters is your contract, your agreement and the law, not what the software recommends.
Put the location, office days and costs in writing. We explain what the law requires, what to agree and what changes if you move or your employer wants you back.
The agency's advertised rate may include costs that never become your wages. Check who employs you, what you are actually owed and where to take a pay complaint.
No guaranteed hours does not mean no rights. Check your pay, holiday and redundancy entitlement, whether you can refuse shifts, and what is still only a promised reform.
